Brampton has beautiful parks, green spaces, woods and trails. Although I knew about the trails and few parks, I had no idea how much we had. I think it's amazing we have the Etobicoke Creek Trail that connects all the cities in Peel Region. And I think it's amazing that we can find old growth trees in the city too. Let's continue to protect these areas while... Continue reading

    end of life care

by Dolores Peckham , over 6 years ago

question to the people and the city of Brampton? Would you like end of life facilities for you or your loved ones if they have a terminal illness and expect to die? would you like several facilities planned in Brampton that are quiet and peaceful for end of life care for your loved one? should there be land set aside for this ?

    Celebrating Culture

by Mary Marrello, over 6 years ago

There are many  experiences that I can share on the colourful and thriving cultures that exist throughout Brampton. You can experience most at the annual Carabram.  However having to commute to different venues is not ideal.  We had the right idea with this years Bjazzed and Food Fest on Sept 9.  Two thumbs up. This is exactly what we needed to showcase the diverse cultures that exist in Brampton. Bringing everyone together like this unites us and makes us stronger.

Would love to see a day for each ethnic group to share their cultural experience in a stand alone event... Continue reading

Let's celebrate Arts & Culture in our city

by Xander, over 6 years ago
Our city is filled with an immense amount of creative energy and we should be celebrating it as others do. Brampton needs a major arts festival such as Nuit Blanche and Art Basel.
